in Dentdale. The site is conveniently situated close to the centre of
Dent, within easy walking distance of all ameneties - shops, pubs and
places to eat - and with superb views of the surrounding hills. Sample
the local beers, brewed in the dale at Dent Brewery or visit a craft
shop. |

Dentdale
is a timeless, peaceful dale to spend a relaxing holiday, and is a perfect
base for walking, cycling or touring - by car or using the famous Settle
Carlisle railway. It is within easy reach of all the Yorkshire Dales,
the Eden Valley and much of the Lake District. There is an outstanding
variety of walks, from a rewarding fell walk to the top of Whernside,
one of the famous Yorkshire Three Peaks, to a delightful riverside stroll
along part of the Dales Way, which passes through Dentdale. |

In
spring the daffodils brighten up the gardens and the lambs frolic in
the fields. In summertime the hedgerows and hay meadows come alive with
flowers and an evening stroll is a delightful experience. Autumn brings
an adundance of new colours to the trees, and then winter arrives with
its bright frosty mornings and maybe even some snow. |
